I had to redo my piece

Because you told me to respect your day

They say something about obedience

And so I stayed away

It’s a virtue not a vice

Slowly low I lay

And give you peace

It’s your birthday

You deserve to be happy

But i just can’t stay away

Lemme put my piece on the tray

This is not for display

But a prayer I will say

And respect I pay

As you blow a million candles

May God Keep you off troubles

I hoped to give you hugs and cuddles

But today you don’t need scandals

I got you new sandals

Posted you on my twitter handles

Happy for you like in the fables

My prayer look longer

But I have to pray for light

I hope you grow stronger

Every day and night

May he keep you off danger

And make your path straight

May you never face hunger

For the time we spend

Thank you for being love and a friend

I know I can offend

Thank you for the rules you bend

In my life you are a legend

For my pains that you attend

I hope your life span he extend

Its your birthday eat

Get chocolate, milk and meat

How I wish I could give you a great

Make your day special and great

Just be nice and sweet

A little nasty and make you sweat

But today I admit defeat

I still wanna see you smile

It will make me happy for a while

As you open a new life file

As you jump to the next tile

Let joy and happiness pile

Let today be worthwhile

Cause tomorrow can be hostile

I’m almost putting my pen down

I hope you happy don’t frown

With lock down I can’t get to town

May God be with you and everything you own

May he keep you from evil unknown

In joy and peace you drown

As a king you deserve a crown

I could have said happy birthday

But it will be a millionth time today

Keep safe I pray

Let the music play

Live like it’s a holiday

Today is better than yesterday

After all it’s your birthday anyway
